History repeats itself if we forget it… 70 years later

Another great pass-along, lest we let it slip by us:

Please read the little cartoon carefully, it’s powerful. Then read the comments at the end. I’m doing my small part by forwarding this message. I hope you’ll consider doing the same.

Non Sequitur - by Wiley

It is now more than 60 years after the Second World War in Europe ended. This e-mail is being sent as a memorial chain, in memory of the six million Jews, 20 million Russians, 10 million Christians and 1,900 Catholic priests who were murdered, massacred, raped, burned, starved and humiliated with the German and Russian Peoples looking the other way!

Now, more than ever, with Iraq , Iran , and others, claiming the Holocaust to be a “myth”, it’s imperative to make sure the world never forgets, because there are others who would like to do it again.

This e-mail is intended to reach 40 million people worldwide!

Join us and be a link in the memorial and help us distribute it around the world.

update note by lineman: I had posted this a while back “as is” from an email that’s been in circulation for seven years already. In 2002, when it was first sent out, 63 years prior was 1939, the year the Third Reich began its attempt at world conquest. It has now been seventy years since that time. Seventy years is a long time, long enough to forget, which is why we need to be reminded – never, never, never again.
